<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Jose Galvao announces her passing, on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the age of 73 years. <br /> <br />Maria will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Catherine, son-in-law Jason and grandsons, Alexander and Henry. She is predeceased by her husband Antonio (aka Tony), to whom she was married nearly 50 years. Maria will also be forever remembered by her sister Carminda, sister-in-law Maria Conceicao, her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-aunt and extended family and dear friends. <br /> <br />A Funeral Service in memory of Maria will be held on Tuesday, May 3 at 12:00 pm, at the Chapel within Lynette Funeral Home, with Father Yves Fournier officiating. <br /> <br />Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Maria Galvao, to the UHN Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.</div>
