1919-2014
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Centre in Toronto. Pre-deceased by her siblings Jean (Dudley) Young and John (Ann) Wyllie. Pre-deceased by her parents John and Jenny Wyllie of Rockingham, Nova Scotia. She will be sadly missed by her brother Michael, her niece Roberta (Tom) Harrison, nephew David Young, Charlie (Lynda) Holla. Aunnie was a great aunt to Matthew (Jesara) and Mark (Crystal) Holla and Maureen Young. Great-great aunt to Kaitlyn, Aiden, and Charlotte Holla as well as Nolan Ord, Jackson and Gavin McFarland. Last taught at Alexander Muir Public School in Toronto. Sadly missed by many friends and neighbours. Visitation to be held at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. W (one block east of Runnymede) on Tuesday, November 25th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Thomas’s Anglican Church, 383 Huron St. A Graveside Service with interment will take place at Camp Hill Cemetery in Halifax, Nova Scotia at on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A special thank you to Dr. Gutman, Dr. Springer and the staff at the transitional ward at St. Joseph’s and her family physician Dr. Stroz. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Liver Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
